When her ambition outstrips her playing ability she feels: a) Despair b) Deluded c) More like practising d) Weary angst that life is too short to live all the options she feels could be possible.
A short musical history:
Age 14 - beg parents for guitar lessons. After three weeks stumbling through 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star', with left leg awkwardly on a footstool, give up.
Age 18-30 - date boys who play guitars. Feel inexplicably jealous.
2008 - begin last-ditch lessons as a nervous adult. And lo, the world of guitar is amazing!
